Q: What are the coaches like?
A: We pride ourselves on having the finest fleet of fully air-conditioned coaches all with reclining seats and onboard restrooms. The panoramic windows and high vantage point means you can take in all the scenery as we travel.
Q: Can I book a group?
A: Take advantage of our special payment terms and conditions for group bookings of 10 or more passengers. Our reservations team will discuss the option of an extended payment date for your group booking to allow you time to collect payment from your guests and make one lump sum payment to our office. As an added bonus, groups of 10 or more passengers receive a $5.00 per person discount (unless otherwise advised).
Q: What is a single supplement?
A: When travelling on coach accommodated holidays single passengers may incur a single supplement. This is a surcharge passed on by accommodation properties for any guests in a sole occupancy room.
Q: Do I need travel insurance?
A: Travel insurance, in particular for coach accommodated holidays, is your choice. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for peace of mind before and during your trip. Travel insurance will protect you in the event of cancellation, loss of baggage, and medical expenses. Please refer to your insurers terms and conditions for details of coverage.
Q: Can I bring a walker or walking stick on tours?
A: Yes, yes, yes. Please bring a walking aid such as a walking frame or walking stick. These can be stored under the coach or in the luggage racks onboard the coach. Some venues may not be suitable for a walking frames. If you are concerned, please discuss access and mobility at the time of booking and we will provide as much information as possible.
Q: Is there seat rotation on the coach?
A: For coach accommodated holidays we operate a daily seat rotation. This allows for everyone to experience the spectacular views from different seats, and you'll have a better opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers.
Q: Can I reserve a seat on the coach?
A: Yes, seats may be reserved for Day / Theater Tours Only, however, there is a surcharge for doing so. Please ask your reservations consultant at the time of booking for more information on reserved seating and surcharges. Please note: we offer this option to those with medical conditions, mobility issues or travel sickness. There is a limit to the number of seats we can reserve on any tour and respectfully ask that reserved seating is requested for only those who require the reserved seat and not the whole group, especially in large groups.
Q: Can I smoke on the coach?
A: NO Smoking is strictly prohibited onboard any Coastal Liner vehicle. We do, however, include plenty of comfort stops in our tours.
Q: Can I eat and drink onboard the coach?
A: As per health regulation guidelines we prohibit eating or drinking onboard the coach (with the exception of bottled water). We can, however, make exception for medical reasons. Please discuss with your coach captain or host on the day if necessary.
Q: Is there much walking involved?
A: The answer to this question will vary from tour to tour. We endeavour to provide as much information in the tour synopsis and at the time of booking on how much walking is involved and the ability levels require for the tour. Please do not hesitate to ask if the amount of walking is a concern for you.
Q: Do the coaches have seatbelts?
A: Yes, we have comfortable lap sash seatbelts.
Q: Does Entertainment Tours cater for dietary requirements?
A: When meals are provided in your tour package we will cater for dietary requirements. Please advise what your requirements are at the time of booking. We will pass this information on to venues on your behalf. In the event that a venue cannot cater for your unique requirement we will advise you. Morning Tea's provided off the coach are tea, coffee and biscuits. Unfortunately we can not provide a substitute for morning tea.
Q: When is payment required?
A: Payment, for Day Touring and Theatre Packages, is required within 7 days of making a booking. We can discuss extended payment conditions for group bookings or 10 or more passengers. Coach Accommodated Holidays generally require a $200 per person non refundable deposit at the time of booking followed by final payment 8 weeks prior to departure. Please refer to the payment terms and conditions for each tour as they may vary.
Q: Do you pick me up from my home?
A: For Day Touring and Theatre Packages we have convenient pickup location across the Central Coast. Please refer to each tour for available locations. For Coach Accommodated Holidays we will pick you up from your home, or as near as possible (subject to coach access). Pickup times for Coach Accommodated Holidays will be advised 3 weeks prior to your departure date.
